Spiritual Conversations

We knocked on Stephen's door this morning at 9 a.m., and it sure looked like he was actually awake and ready to go.  Soon, "his" house filled up with around 12 of us, ready to pray for the families of our congregation.  Marta led the time, and incredibly knew the last names of almost every single family in the church.

We invited Stephen to our house after the study, inviting him to eat a tamal de salsa verde, but in spite of my very clear insinuations, did not end up helping Daniel with his home schooling classes!  He eats his mid-day meal, la comida, at Samuel and Aurora's house.

Last night we had an interesting conversation that covered such diverse topics as spiritual gifts, demon possession and the nature of prayer.  On our way home, I invited him to eat some tacos, but he said he'd better get to bed.  Now, I'm not sure if sleep is ever better than eating tacos...but of course we need to break him in!

Here is Stephen, hanging with our little dog, Teddy.
