Prayer Request for Martín

A special prayer request today...Martín Méndez, pastor of the first church, has been experiencing severe headaches, and at a doctor's recommendation had an electrocardiogram done yesterday afternoon. You may recall that Martín had an accident about a year and three months ago, where he was electrocuted, then fell three stories and lived to tell about it. Truly a miracle. I know that Martín and Laura would appreciate your prayers for them.

I had the privilege of preaching in Sendero 1 yesterday. It was the first time we had been there in a while...what an encouragement to see so many new people, and a full service!

On Saturday evening a number of us met for our Saturday night men's study...we´re working through Hebrews. Our post-study activity? Tacos!  Thanks for the pic, Stephen P.!

Quote of the Day: As human beings we must connect with each other in order to survive. Our inability to value cultural and ethnic diversity increases the complexity of building and maintaining trust. Yet God wants that diversity to be respected and harnessed in such a way that together we strive for the glory of God and unify around the work of his kingdom. "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit just as you were called to one hope when you were called-one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all" (Eph 4:3-6).
